Privacy at Criggle

1. Anonymous Use of the Criggle Website
You can visit and take a look at the Criggle website without personal data being collected. In order to improve the user friendliness of the Criggle website, automated statistics are collected. These statistics contain data about the visitors of the Criggle website and their user habits which are made anonymous and summarized. No conclusions can be drawn as to your person from these data.


2. Earmarked Collection of Personal Data
We collect your personal data when you become a member of Criggle, order the e-mail newsletter, place an order or submit a pitch. Different personal data are necessary depending on the service you wish to use on the Criggle website.

 

2.1 Membership and Newsletter
Please enter the requested data for registration and order of the newsletter. Additionally you determine a pseudonym (e.g. "designer11") with which you remain anonymous at Criggle. Thus, you are able to act on the marketplace without other users knowing your identity.

 

2.2 Place an Order
If you wish to place an order at Criggle, additional data are required in order to handle and execute your order. All agreements are concluded within the password protected area.

2.3 Submit a Proposal
If you wish to pitch via Criggle, additional data are required in order to handle and execute your transactions. All agreements are concluded in the password protected area.


3. Safety
Criggle takes technical and organizational safety measures in order to ensure that your personal data are protected against loss, false amendments or unauthorized access. Only authorized staff has access to your personal data at Criggle, and only insofar as necessary within the purpose mentioned in section 2.


4. Responsible Usage of Your Data
The collection and processing of personal data shall be effected exclusively in order to conclude an agreement, to send the newsletter, if ordered and certain chargeable data service (like mobile messaging services etc.). Criggle reserves the right to send adequately advirtising. The collection and usage of your data shall of course be effected according to the strict guidelines of the German Data Protection Act.


5. Transmission of Your Data to Third Parties
In order to bring together Customers and Crigglers on the Criggle marketplace, your data are published there under the pseudonym selected by you. For Customers and Crigglers, the pseudonym and the information that you wish to publish yourself is shown on your profile page which is accessible by all users. Should you as a Customer fail to fulfil your obligation of payment, your data will be transmitted to a collection agency.

Due to legal requirements, Criggle is obliged to transmit your personal data in special cases (e.g. clarification of attempts at fraud) to the prosecuting authorities as well as parties which suffered damage, if applicable.

As far as Criggle charges external suppliers, Criggle ensures that these suppliers undertake to adhere to the legal data protection provisions. All employees of Criggle are also bound to confidentiality.

 

Criggle ensures that your data will not be sold to third parties for advertising purposes, let or transmitted in any other form.


6. Cookies
We use so-called cookies to optimize the Criggle website. They serve to make our offer more user friendly and safer. A cookie is a small text file which is stored on the hard disk of your computer by our web server. Cookies do not harm your computer system. Most of the cookies used by us are so-called "session cookies". They are deleted from your hard disk automatically after the end of your visit ("session"). You are able to determine whether and how you want to allow the use of cookies when configuring your browser. If you do not allow cookies or delete them, some functions of our website may not be available to the usual extent. No personal data are stored in criggle cookies.


7. Information, Correction, Deletion, Blocking
We are pleased to inform you on written request about your personal data stored in our system. Moreover, you are entitled to cancel your consent to the collection, processing and use your personal data anytime with a future effect. You can address your revocation in writing to Criggle GmbH, Maastrichter Straße 15, 41464 Neuss, or by e-mail to contact@Criggle.de.

Furthermore, you may correct the data of your user account and thus your personal data, or have them blocked or deleted by us. Only those data which we require for the handling of your transactions already effected or for the enforcement of rights of Criggle or third parties are excluded therefrom. After blocking or deletion of your data, future orders and proposals are, however, only possible after new registration. The above also applies to the receipt of the newsletter.
