Fees
There are no costs for the membership of Crigglers or
Companies. Crigglers, the creative people, can submit proposals for
free. Criggle only charges companies placing a tender with 15% (excl.
VAT) of the tender price. Fees to Criggle are payed by Clickandbuy when placing the invitation to tender.
How does it work?
Criggle.com is a platform which has been created especially for creative services such as design and illustration. Companies and other customers place their invitation to tender in the range of design development on this platform. A pitch describes the invitation to tender regarding an order of a company (referred to hereinafter as Customer). Crigglers, the creative people, can submit proposals as to this. These proposals can be commented by the companies and the Crigglers can update their proposals. At the end of the period of invitation to tender (to be defined by the company individually) the company chooses the best Criggler, pays the remuneration agreed in advance and known to all users and nominates the second and third place.
How do I enrol?
Each user who either wants to place orders or submit pitches has to enrol. You can enter your future user name under LogIn. Afterwards you receive an e-mail at your stated address with a link leading you back to the Criggle page and identifying you clearly.
The registration form is available on an independent page. At the beginning of the registration, you decide whether you want to enrol as a “Company” or a “Criggler”. You most important data are to be entered in a corresponding form.
What is the difference between companies and Crigglers?
As a company or a general customer you can place orders and manage them. You can present yourself and your orders on your profile page.
As a Criggler you can participate actively in the orders by submitting and managing pitches. On your profile page, you can present yourself and your portfolio.
Who can become a member of criggle.com?
Each company and person which/who accepts the General Terms and Conditions and the terms of use.
Is the membership at criggle.com for free?
Yes, there are no costs for the membership of Crigglers or Companies.
How do I change my profile?
You see MYINFOPOINT at the right side of your profile view. There you can find the settings where you can change your profile.
I have forgotten my login data!
In the login range under "Passwort vergessen/Forgotten your password?", a temporary password can be send to the reference e-mail address.
How do I change my password?
You see MYINFOPOINT at the right side of your profile page. There you can change your password when you are logged in.
How do I change my data?
You see MYINFOPOINT at the right side of your profile page. In the settings in this field you can change your data.
How do I place a pitch as a Customer?
When you are logged in as a Customer, please click on "Create Pitch" under "MYINFOPOINT". The following data fields have to be completed:

Type/ category of the pitch

Allocation of the pitch to a category already existing

Individual description of the pitch

Upload data material

In addition, there is the possibility to upload templates, design models and the like and to provide it to the Crigglers.

Period of the pitch. It should be stipulated according to the extent of the order.

Remuneration
How long shall the period for filing of proposals be?
As the period is a decisive criterion for the quality of the proposals, it should be defined in relation to the extent of the order. The table of periods may serve as a reference.
What should the remuneration amount to?
The remuneration is also a decisive criterion for the quality of the proposals. In general: The higher the promised remuneration is the more interested parties submit proposals. The list of average remuneration indicated here, may serve as a reference for the selection of the appropriate remuneration.
When do I pay the fees to Criggle.com as Customer?
I pay the fees to Criggle by Clickandbuy when placing the invitation to tender.
When do I pay the compensation to the Criggler as a Customer?
You and the Criggler agree on the terms of payment (remittance, cheque, etc.). The request for an invoice is at your discretion. Please note: You may possibly receive an invoice which is not allowable from income. Anyway, you are obliged to pay the compensation.
What does the placing of an invitation to tender cost?
The costs for placing an invitation to tender depend on the volume of the order. See also the price list.
When do I get my remuneration as a Criggler?
I agree upon the terms of payment with the Customer (remittance, cheque, etc.) The Customer may ask for an invoice.
What’s a pitch?
A pitch describes the invitation to tender regarding an order of a company (referred to hereinafter as Customer).
How can I comment on my pitches as a Customer?
Click on the draft of a designer to be commented on the page “Pitch Detailview” when you are logged in. Then you access the page “Entwurf Detailview/Draft detail view”. Please click on the button "Kommentieren/Comment". A comment field opens in which you can comment on the current design. A comment on the winner pitch is mandatory. Comments on the second and third pitches are desired expressly after the end of the pitch.
What are the rules for commenting?

Comments which have been placed cannot be deleted or edited.

The comment can be read under “Entwurf Detailview/Draft detail view”.

Comments shall be objective and be not insulting.
What possibilities are there to change my pitch?
In order provide for a fair coexistence, we decided that placed pitches cannot be changed or cancelled afterwards. The period cannot be changed either. If a pitch is to be changed or deleted as an exception, the express consent of criggle.de is required after corresponding application. Criggle.de will weigh your arguments against the legitimate interests of the Crigglers and make a decision.
What is to be done when a pitch ends?
Criggler: It depends on whether you have won. The three best Crigglers are notified automatically and receive the Criggler points specified in advance. All other candidates who are not among the three winners are notified as well. The contact data of the winner and the Customer are indicated automatically in the winner mail. In this mail, there is a link to the rating page. The winner and the company can rate each other. The rating is effected by allocating 1 to 5 stars and stating a free comment optionally.
Customer: You choose the winner as well as the second and the third place within the time for consideration defined by you. A comment on the winner pitch is mandatory; comments for the second and third winner are desired expressly. After nominating the winner, the contact data are exchanged automatically in a winner mail to you and the winner. In this mail, there is a link to the rating page. There you can rate the winner.
When do I get my remuneration?
I agree upon the terms of payment with the Customer (remittance, cheque, etc.) The Customer may ask for an invoice. However, the obligation to pay is not dependant on the fulfilment of this request.
Is there a chance to correct after the end of the pitch?
After the end of the pitch, the Customer and the Criggler agree on continuance of the activity on their own responsibility. Criggle.com can no longer operate then.
How do I pitch as a Criggler?
In order to participate in a pitch, the following requirements have to be met:

Moreover, supplementary documents can be deposited as an upload document which can only be read by the Customer.
Furthermore the following rules shall apply:

Designs which have been placed cannot be deleted afterwards; they can only be updated by a new layout

The preview can be seen on the page „Pitch Detailview/Pitch detail view“, only the Customer can see the contents in detail

If a Criggler wants to place a completely new design, he/she has to do this by the option "Send In" as a new proposal.
Which data of my pitch are publicly available?
A user who is logged in can get a detail view of one of the designs by clicking on the respective draft. Here, you can see all versions of the draft of one designer listed in chronological order. The latest draft is at the top of the list. Each version includes the following:

A foreign proposal is not in line with the description of the order - what can I do?
This proposal can be “flagged" stating the reason. Criggle.de will then decide on the further proceeding.
How do I report the infringement of copyright?
You can "flag" a proposal. In doing so, you have to state a reason for this action. You should show evidence for such infringement – if available.
How do I upload files?
You have to be logged in. Please click in the Pitches range on the pitch you would like to make a proposal for. Then please click on “Einrichung/Placing” on the page opening afterwards and upload a public picture by clicking on the button “Durchsuchen/Search“.
Can I submit all kinds of files?
No, you cannot. The Customer decides which format the requested proposal should have.
Why was I logged out automatically?
After a certain time, in which no activity took place, an automatic logout is effected for safety reasons. You can log in again easily.
Which consequences may be drawn from the flagging of my proposal?
Criggle.com will pursue the accusation and delete the placed proposal in case of an infringement of the General Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, applicable law, publicly known or proved copyrights.
